About Us
Don and Sandy Dunbar first opened Don's Home Center in 1994, serving the Bitterroot Valley with great service and supplies at fair pricing.
After serving the community for over 25 years, Don and Sandy were ready to retire, a move that potentially closed what is truly a lynch pin to the community.
Early Days: A Family Business
Transition
Goodworks Evergreen purchased Don's Home Center from the Dunbars, allowing them to retire and the community to hold on to a key business.
Since that transition, we have expanded the garden center, created a preferred contractor program, redesigned the store and website, and increased staff by 60%
Continuing the Tradition of
Quality & Service
Don's Home Center has been such a success and inspiration that it has become the parent company to similar businesses acquired by Goodworks Evergreen, including Anaconda Building Center, Hardware Hank's of Anaconda, and Superior Color & Lumber.
